Visiting framework
Generally open continuously. Any different hours are posted at the entrances; the grounds or individual areas may be closed temporarily for a particular reason.
Use this information to choose when to visit and keep the relevant exit in mind. A particular grave cannot be inferred from the points above; obtain its section, row and grave number first.
Visit respectfully
Remain on paths intended for visitors at Gerresheim Forest Cemetery, keep clear of funerals and personal farewells, and do not touch monuments or planting. Photograph other people only with their consent. For a short-notice practical question, contact City of Düsseldorf – parks, cemeteries and forestry department.
